An integrated and respectful architecture.

Located in Sceaux, at the intersection of rue des Chéneaux, Sentier de la Tour and the Coulée Verte, the Clos Hanami project, designed by our agency, is an invitation to a subtle dialogue between building and nature. This ambitious real estate program offers 87 housing units spread across two buildings of 4 and 5 floors, totaling a floor area of 6,486 m². The complex fits into an existing residential setting, respecting urban volumes and promoting a smooth transition between natural spaces and constructions.

The architecture draws its inspiration from the materiality of the site and the understated modernity of the nearby Pierre-Marie Curie High School. The natural brick facade, punctuated by patterns and relief work, harmonizes with the local architectural context while bringing a contemporary signature. The large openings and continuous balconies promote natural light and unobstructed views of the surrounding landscape.

An immersive landscape composition

The project is not limited to the construction of housing: it shapes a true living environment where the environment holds a central place. Built on a plot of 4,037 m², Clos Hanami works to strengthen the dialogue between architecture and nature by integrating dense and carefully planned landscaping.

Preservation and enhancement of biodiversity

Two remarkable trees, honey locusts, are preserved and integrated into the project. Additionally, 50 new tall trees are planted, accompanied by native shrub and perennial flower beds.

Creation of a green inner courtyard

A vegetated river meanders through the center of the project, promoting rainwater infiltration and structuring a landscaped space that becomes a true green lung for residents.

Green roofs

The roofs feature an extensive sedum covering, contributing to rainwater management and improving the thermal performance of the building.

Natural and sustainable materials

The use of molded terracotta bricks and wood for terraces and pathways ensures a gentle and environmentally respectful integration.

A project focused on innovation and sustainability

Clos Hanami is designed with an eco-responsible approach, in line with environmental and energy regulation requirements.

  • Enhanced energy performance: the project maintains a Bbio 20% lower than regulatory requirements, ensuring better thermal efficiency.
  • Soft mobility and smart parking: the underground parking, with a capacity of 121 spaces, is 100% electrifiable, allowing for the gradual integration of electric vehicles without technical constraints.
  • Rainwater treatment: in addition to the vegetated river, permeable gravel surfaces ensure optimal infiltration.
  • Comfort and quality of life: each housing unit features balconies or loggias, promoting outdoor extensions and sunlight exposure.

Elegant and refined interior architecture designed by Volume ABC

The interior architecture of Clos Hanami is distinguished by a minimalist and sophisticated approach.

Inspired by Japanese design principles and the simplicity of raw materials. Each space has been designed to promote a peaceful and warm atmosphere, where materials and textures play an essential role.

  • Entrance halls: True transition spaces, they are dressed in harmony with the facade, while wall and ceiling wood slats create a refined vertical effect. Indirect lighting accompanies residents' journey, highlighting volumes and offering a soft and immersive atmosphere.
  • Landings and circulation areas: A natural extension of the halls, the landings are designed in a refined and functional spirit, with noble materials such as wood and bronze metal, reinforcing a understated and contemporary identity.
  • Apartments: Each unit benefits from an interior design inspired by nature and serenity. Light oak parquet flooring brings a warm touch, while walls are punctuated with grooved wooden elements, evoking the Japanese tradition of Shoji. Kitchens and bathrooms are equipped with high-end materials, with natural stone finishes and brushed bronze elements.
  • Subtle lighting: Indirect lighting, integrated into woodwork and ceilings, accentuates the harmony of spaces and highlights textures. Sculptural pendant lights complete the ambiance, particularly in halls and living spaces.
