Located on the exit to Nasiriyah to the south of Iraq, on the road to Baghdad, the project includes a stadium seating 30,000, two training stadiums seating 2,500 and 500 people respectively, and a 4* hotel with 80 rooms. Designed to meet safety regulations and FIFA standards, the stadium is sheltered by an embossed aluminium
shell which seems to float above the ground and whose patterns evoke the vegetal ornamentation of traditional Iraqi monuments. Its strong identity brings together tradition and modernity within a contemporary movement.
